Vary the energy level across your worship service times. Let me share one of my favorite Hollywood worship services below, equipped with one James Brown, two Blues Brothers, and a Richard Prior look a like in the choir.  I hope you enjoy it, and let it remind you that when we very our songs, and provide variety in our set lists, the songs can speak to the hearts of different people. I challenge you worship leaders to also very your tempo in a service or two every quarter. For the most part, a church will follow the same music tempo most all of the time. Find some new or classic songs that challenge your normal tempo, and mix it up for your congregation one Sunday. While you think about what songs those might be… sit back and watch the Spirit touch a Blues Brother. Forgive me if this is offensive to anyone… it is simply a fun moment in Hollywood depicting a worship service. To some people this is the only church worship service they have ever seen!
